We now have press day at Chelsea under our belts and it has been a great success on The Power of Nature garden. Starting out with our two contortionists who stole the show – demonstrating the flexibility of nature and solar energy to heat our homes and hot water – and drawing a great deal of press attention even at 8.15am in the morning!
BBC TV were lining up to film on the garden including presenters Alan Titchmarsh, Joe Swift, Rachel de Thame and Toby Buckland who all commented on the flow of planting and the fusion of technology with nature.
We also did a bit of celebrity spotting and were joined by the likes of Linda Barker, Laurence Llewlyn Bowen, Arlene Phillips, Imelda Staunton, Judith Chalmers, Mark Durden-Smith, Michael Parkinson, James Carter and Jo Whiley on our garden.
Everyone’s comments complimented Olivia Kirk’s garden design and we are looking forward to seeing the first RHS visitors at the show on Tuesday morning when we will find out what the judges thought of the garden too.
